Recommended age

Perfect for little stargazers aged 3 and up. Sliding a disc in and swapping to the next one is simple enough for a preschooler to do on their own, and older kids keep it as their "my room" night light for years.

Younger toddlers love the glow too, with a grown-up running the projector. It is USB powered, so keep the cable tidy and out of reach in the cot or bed.

For use under adult supervision.

How does it work?

Plug the projector into any USB power source, slide one of the galaxy discs into the slot, and point it at the wall or ceiling. In a dark or dim room it projects a big, colourful space scene. Swap the disc and a new sky appears. No app, no screen. USB power and interchangeable discs.

Why parents swear by it

You know the trade: a few minutes of quiet for a longer, more wired bedtime once the tablet goes off. That is exactly why we made this. Your child gets the wonder and the "wow" of a galaxy on the ceiling, and the only thing glowing is a soft starry scene, not a screen.

Plug it in at grandma's, in a hotel, or at a sleepover and the same calm routine comes with you. It is the bedtime helper you do not have to feel guilty about.

How the bedtime galaxy works

No app. No batteries to hunt for. Just plug in, slide in a disc, and watch the ceiling fill with stars.

A hand connects the GalaxyGlow projector to a USB charger beside a bed.

Plug it in, anywhere

It runs on USB, so it plugs into the same charger you already have by the bed. That's the entire setup. No batteries to replace at 8pm, no app to download, nothing that lights up the whole room like a screen.

  • USB powered, works with any phone charger or power bank
  • Compact enough for a bedside table or a suitcase
  • Doubles as a soft night light once the discs are put away
A mother settles her child's blanket beneath a soft galaxy projection.

Why bedtime always ends in one more episode.

The tablet goes on "just for ten minutes," the room glows blue, and an hour later they're more wired than when you started. You trade a few minutes of quiet for a longer, harder wind-down, then feel guilty about the screen.

The problem was never your kid. It was the screen.

Orpello GalaxyGlow turns a dark ceiling into a colourful space scene. Pick a disc, spot the planets and invent a rocket adventure together — with no app or screen required.

4 reasons to add a little bedtime wonder

Every detail built around how kids actually wind down, and how parents actually survive bedtime.

🌌

A ceiling full of space scenes

No autoplay and no app. Choose a disc and enjoy a space scene on the ceiling together.

🪐

Space play that grows curiosity

Naming planets, counting stars, making up rocket adventures. The projector gives them a sky to talk about, so quiet time quietly builds vocabulary and imagination.

🔌

Plug in, no battery hunt

USB powered, so it runs off the charger already by the bed, a power bank on holiday, or the car on a long drive. Hotel rooms and grandma's house get the same familiar bedtime.

🎁

The gift that stays in the room

Most toddler gifts are in the donate pile by the next birthday. This one becomes the night light they refuse to sleep without, which is why grandparents and gifters keep coming back for it.

A child reaches for a GalaxyGlow projector in an open gift box.

The kids' gift parents actually appreciate.

Most kids' gifts fall into two camps: the loud plastic thing with batteries that parents quietly "lose" after a week, or the fragile toy that's broken by the next morning. Both end up in the donate pile by the next birthday.

This one becomes part of the bedtime routine instead.

It's calming, it's screen-free, and it gives every night a familiar wind-down at home, at grandma's, or in a hotel room. With 6, 12, or 24 discs to choose from, there's a set for the curious first-timer and one for the kid who wants a different galaxy every single night.

Birthday, holiday, or "please just help them sleep tonight": it's the safe pick that lands every time.

Common questions

We've got the answers parents ask before they buy

What ages is this best for?
Recommended for ages 3 and up, the sweet spot where kids love planets, rockets, and "which one is the moon?" Younger toddlers enjoy the glow with a grown-up running it, and older kids keep it as their bedroom night light for years. It is USB powered, so keep the cable out of the cot.
How does it work?
Plug the projector into any USB power source, slide a galaxy disc into the front slot, and point it at the wall or ceiling. In a dark or dim room it projects a large, colourful space scene. Swap the disc and a new sky appears. No app, no screen, no batteries.
Does the room need to be dark?
The darker the room, the bigger and brighter the galaxy, so it works beautifully at bedtime with the main light off. In a dim room it still shows up well on a plain wall or ceiling; in full daylight the projection will be faint, so it's really made for evenings and wind-down time.
6, 12, or 24 discs: which set should I pick?
The 6-disc Starter set is perfect if you want to try it with one child. The 12-disc Dream set gives you a different sky most nights of the fortnight, which is where most families land. The 24-disc Mega set is for the kid who wants a brand-new galaxy every single night, or for two siblings sharing one projector. Every set comes with the projector, and you can mix sets when you buy 2 or 3.
Does it need batteries?
No. It is USB powered, so it runs from any phone charger, power bank, or laptop port. That's one less thing to replace at 8pm, and it means the same projector works in a hotel room or the car.
How do the free gifts work?
Every order comes with the 1,000+ page Educational Activity Pack. Buy 2 projectors and we add the Bedtime Coloring Book. Buy 3 and you also get the Little Lights Bedtime Stories collection. The gifts are added to your cart automatically and show as free at checkout.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery charges and available services are shown at checkout. Please see Orpello’s shipping and returns policies for full details.
